Execution of topographic surveying, grid leveling, establishment of a survey control network, and setting-out works for borehole locations and excavation limits for the construction of a residential complex for Chinese Embassy staff in Cairo – Zamalek District, to support the design and construction works.
Total Surveying Office (TSO) carried out the topographic surveying, grid leveling, establishment of the survey control network, and setting-out works for borehole locations on behalf of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC). The scope included topographic surveys, determination of elevations and coordinates, and setting out various project elements and components to support the design and construction teams and ensure the accuracy of surveying works on site.
Scope of Work
Site topographic survey, control point establishment and connection, coordinate and elevation verification, construction setting-out, and surveying support for site execution.
Methodology
Site control points were established and connected to the project reference system, followed by topographic surveying and coordinate and elevation verification using GNSS receivers and total stations. Setting-out works were then carried out for various project elements, with their positions and elevations checked against the approved drawings.
